Partners for Prevention Community Coalition

A group of community members that come together to work on topics that are troubling the community. Each member brings their own knowledge and strengths to try to reduce substance use and gambling among youth. What can you bring to our table?

Parents Who Host Lose the Most

Educates parents about the health and safety risks of providing alcohol to teenagers and increases awareness of and compliance with underage drinking laws.

Project Sticker Shock

Uses stickers, posters and other  media to warn  adults about the penalties for supplying alcohol to minors. These stickers are placed on multi-packs of beer.

Responsible Server Training

A New York State Liquor Authority-certified program designed to teach anyone who sells or serves alcoholic beverages about how to sell or serve responsibly.  Please contact Partners for Prevention at 585-786-8970 to schedule a training.

Problem Gambling

A presentation that teaches about gambling and  the affect that it can have on family and friends. 

Hidden Drug Room

This provides parents with clues from a teen’s  bedroom to help them determine whether their  child might be experimenting with or using  drugs or alcohol. Room décor, hidden  compartments and items to conceal use are  located throughout the room. 

Talk Saves Lives

 A community-based presentation that covers the general scope of suicide, the research on prevention, and what people can do to fight suicide. 

NARCAN Training

Train others on how to administer NARCAN to  save those going through an overdose.
