Wyoming County's Partners for Prevention Coalition

What is a coalition?

According to CADCA (Community Anti-Drug Coalition of America) a coalition is a formal arrangement for collaboration among groups or sectors of a community in which each group retains its identity but all agree to work together toward the common goal of a safe, healthy, and drug free community.

Our Purpose:

The purpose of the coalition is to promote community members to come together to work on a topic that is troubling the community.  Each member keeps their own identity, bringing their knowledge and strengths with them to the meeting to try to reduce the issues in the community

Your Part:

Your part as a coalition member is to bring your strength and knowledge to help where you can as a member of the community, on any given topic.  We also ask that you take what you learn from the coalition meeting back to your organization and spread the ideas/knowledge that was learned at the meeting.
